  • Second time at La Cave was a charm. We stopped in for a quick lunch and stayed for a few glasses of wine. Service impeccable, food delicious and easily sharable and the ambiance outdoors was perfect, neither too hot nor too loud. Which brings me to the first time: we had dinner here a year ago and it was way too loud. Like rock concert loud. Maybe I'm getting old, but if I'm drinking decent wine, I want to enjoy it without bass vibrations. And the small plate concept may be good for lunch, but for dinner I need a bit more than aesthetics on my plate.
