| - We just stayed here for 7 days for a business trip, so I think I have a lot of valid pros and cons to offer.
First the PROS:
--The hotel staff and concierge are incredibly sweet and helpful. They suggested several delicious places to eat, and always called to try to get us in and get us a great table. They were helpful with directions and in helping orient us to the city (It was our first time there.)
--As mentioned by others, the bathroom floors are heated which was nice.
--The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
--The view from the rooftop pool is out of this world beautiful.
CONS:
--Again as mentioned in other reviews, this hotel is VERY loud! You can hear everything going on in the hallway. There were several loud, drunk people in the hallway during our week stay. It became highly annoying when we were woken up several times around 3am or so.
--The Restaurant, TheCounter, in the hotel (although convenient) is very mediocre.
--They don't provide towels in the gym (I thought this was odd, but they tell you to bring a towel from your room.)
--If you have a car it costs $35 a night to park (outrageous!) and the valet are VERY SLOW with getting your car when you request it (like plan on waiting at least 20 minutes).
--They charge $15 a day for internet (I have a problem when hotels charge steep amounts for this service. Since we were here for business, internet was definitely a necessity, and it just seems wrong for it to be such a steep daily charge.)
--The majority of the people who stay here are very intimidating looking (dressed to the 9's at 8am in the morning kind of people...very fit and tan, and noes up in the air.)
