  • This is the biggest stadium I have ever been in. The walls are so far away that the baseball diamond looks like a postcard. Coming from the Bay Area, I am used to ballparks with views, so it felt a little weird to be so enclosed by the high walls. Note this is summer time, so the dome roof was open. I can't even imagine what it must feel like with the roof closed. I agree that it was pretty neat to see the CN Tower looming outside of right field. My favorite part of any stadium is the food, which I found was really good here. The lines were a little long but that is probably why the food seemed so fresh, they are constantly cooking it instead of leaving it to cool and harden on a back counter. I loved the sliders, the chicken wings, and especially the poutine. I had never had anything like it before and wish I could have tried other versions. I have researched poutine since coming home and it seems the Canadians are experimenting with variations on the theme. The Alexander Keith IPA was tasty, too, absolutely perfect for a balmy evening. I was intrigued with a section that served made to order Chinese stir fry with noodles. Just past that station appeared to be a cute little market that sold who knows what else. Unfortunately for me, the game was about to start and I wanted to see the first pitch so I had to abandon my recon mission. I thought I would have time to go back, but the game ended so quickly I never had the chance.
