  • A few months ago I was in dire need of a cut and highlights and couldn't afford the price tag of my normal stylist. I live within walking distance of AZ Hair Co so I decided to give it a shot. The receptionist was super friendly. At first I told her that I only wanted a cut but while we were talking I changed my mind and told her I wanted highlights as well. She gave me a general price quote and sat me with Eva. I told Eva what I wanted and she asked alot of questions to make sure she would give me the look I was going for. She was quite the talker, which I appreciate because there was no uncomfortable silence. For the most part this was a positive experience....I was a little concerned about the highlights because they appeared to be brassy when she took out the foil but she fixed it right away......she charged me less than what the receptionist quoted and the haircut was really cute. Not to mention that Eva had previously mentioned to the receptionist before I sat with her that she had plans that night and was supposed to leave by 7pm.....well she stayed late just so she could work on my hair. I tipped her $20, she deserved it! I would definitely go back......they are priced for budget conscious people, they accept walk-in's, the staff is knowledgeable and the salon is super clean. :)
