This place is wonderful, although the facility itself needs some help.
The people who work there are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. They really want to get these animals adopted out in to good and loving homes. I only dealt with one individual who I thought was a little rude and she was just the person who checked us out, so we didn't have to deal with her very long.
We adopted a wonderful Pitbull Mix named Hank from here. He's such a sweet dog. He was in pretty good shape when we got him too. All of the animals looked relatively healthy. It really seems like they're trying to do the best with what they've got. I love how non-judgmental they are. They make you answer questions, but nothing that seems too crazy. Their adoption fees are reasonable, and I think it's wonderful how they just give you a leash and let you take dogs that you're considering on a walk.
Great place. Hank is one of the best things that has ever happened to us. If we are ever looking for another furry addition to our family, I have no doubt that we'll come here.
