  • This place is amazing. They have over 500(!) flavours of pop, most in glass bottles and most made with cane sugar (not high fructose corn syrup like all the "big" brands). Most of these are boutique brands, but you'll have heard of some like Vernors, Dad's, Dr. Pepper, Faygo, Stewarts, Jolt, The Pop Shoppe and many you probably haven't heard of like Virgil's, Avery's, Moxie, Olde Brooklyn, Route 66 and WAY too many more to mention. You'll find orange, root beer, cream soda, cola etc., but also birch beer, egg cream, celery and flavours you've never heard of. How about some novelty items like Dog Drool, Kitty Piddle, Black Lemonade, or Monster Mucus. Tips - don't be in a rush 'cause you're going to want to spend some time, and if you have a specific need (say, Grape Nehi), call ahead to make sure they aren't out of stock. Definitely worth the drive to Whitby!
