  • Took our border collie Jack here today for the second time. Last time I was very happy and thought he looked great - which is why we came back. This time however, I can't tell if he was locked in a closet with a scissor-wielding toddler or went ten rounds with Edward Scissorhands and lost. They even shaved (!!!) parts of him - something that no professional groomer should ever do to a double coat breed. I have no idea what to do - there was no blending at all just jagged cuts everywhere - but I'm terrified to let anyone else take anymore hair off him to even it out. He looks terrible. Every time my husband and I look at his ears we laugh until we cry. And then we just cry.
