Suppose to leave JFK at 5:15. We were delayed getting on the plane because one of there own, head flight attendant, was not on time. Flight 211 by the way. So we boarded the plane and next thing that happens, they get on the speaker and say the plane can't go up. Not that there is a mechanical failure. Just can't go up. So we deplane and they say we will take off at 7. We did not board until after 7. Then we waited in the plane for it to be fueled. Left the gate and sat in the Tarmac for 30 minutes waiting to take off. Finally in the air all was good until we needed service in the first class cabin. It sucked. The attendants were not attentive. They say in there butts and did not fill drinks. Pick up glasses. It's pretty sad when a customer has to wring the call button in first class to get a glass of water. Horrible service. So we finally land 3 hours late. Get to carousel and the next thing we here. Flight 211 could be experiencing delays in getting your luggage. Omg. What a nightmare. So I am sitting here at 11:45pm. Still waiting for luggage because of an airline and there incompetents to do there job. Bad employees who don't care. Ridiculous agreements with unions. Maybe there all in break. What happened to service. What happened to the customer comes first. Between the tsa and the airlines now days why does anyone want to fly. It is horrible and getting worse. If you a couple minutes late they will leave without ya but they can sit on your luggage for a unacceptable amount of time.
I hate airlines today but more importantly I hate American for having such crappy service and customs care.
