  • Had a great time at the Hudson Wine Festival. What can be better than a warm summer day, enjoying sips of wine, and supporting local charities? The purpose of the Hudson Wine Festival is to increase awareness and support for animal welfare and military support organizations in Northeast Ohio. The event was certainly pooch friendly with water bowls for them and lots of furry friends in attendance. The festival is not as large as some, but there was a nice variety of wine tents, and spirits and beer as well. Tickets cost $27 at the door that includes glass and 10 taste tickets. While there were only 3 food vendors inside, your wristband allowed you to exit and visit the First & Main shopping district to patronize those shops and restaurants. I thought it was cool that the shops hold a sidewalk sale during that weekend.
