I've been a customer of this particular Mr Lube for several years. Service has been prompt with little to no wait times. Prices reasonable and on par with other similar companies. The staff has always been a bit aggressive on the upsells etc but it was ok as staff seemed to know when to taper back a bit.
This last trip however while the above was still applied I felt bombarded with efforts to upsell, purchase addons, extra services donation. More so than on previous visits, to the point I question returning.
Additionally the upsell scripts were being pushed to the point they missed doing some of the little things that they checked off as completed on the check list. For example I told them I had a freshly washed reusable air filter. I was then argued with that they were still "required" to check to which I had no problem I was just telling them it was a reusable. They never did check the filter. I told them of a hanging connection to an O2 sensor that was very obvious but they never noticed or reconnected. They never offered instruction on resetting my oil life which they have on every other visit. My power steering was low just below the add line (I had checked that morning but left it as I was going in for the oil change) but I was told it was good. I did these small things for myself after I pulled out of the bay in the lot behind.
