| - This review is well deserved and so long overdue! I have been going to this studio for about a year, and my only previous yoga experience was through youtube in the privacy of my living room.
I walked in planning to purchase the $20 2 week pass. In my head I had it all planned out. I was going to attend a class or two a week to help alleviate tightness from the weight training I had been focusing on. I thought a little light stretching in the heated environment would feel great. I was so wrong about every one of those things. I returned the following day, even though day one proved that hot yoga is not easy. But, as they say, it was worth it. At the end of the two weeks, I canceled my other gym membership and purchased a membership at Sumits. Each instructor is experienced, patient, and helpful. There have been a few that I have silently vowed never to take a class from again, but somehow by the end of the 80 minute sequence my mind has been changed (each and every time). These instructors are led by an incredible business owner, Ashley, who has done an amazing job at creating a clean, safe, and encouraging environment. The promotion of self and body love, has helped me in every way possible. This is a place to improve physical health, but it also lends itself to working towards improving emotional and spiritual health as well.
If you have ever considered or wanted to try yoga, but are waiting for some ideal circumstance. Don't. This is the place for you to find acceptance for others and yourself.
