Cool little place! I was in town visiting my parents, so I decided to stop by and ended up writing some prose in there for nearly one hour. It's a no-frills place but the coffee is excellent. It took me some getting used to sitting at the communal table but that was the best place for me to hear from the locals about how their neighborhood has evolved since my last visit to that area over a decade ago. Overall, I highly recommend this place, especially if you want to take a break from all the nearby window shopping. My only suggestion is that cafe should consider expanding its cookie selection. When I was there, it only offered ginger cookies. How about also some chocolate chip cookies? ;)
