I don't want to sound like a pissed off customer as I am not. I would like this review to be honest relating to my recent stay.
I have stayed a few times over the years here and usually in the Gold Tower on the "Gold Club Level" as the extra privacy is always nice.
I rented 2 rooms as my daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday with friends.
Let me say, I see why they lost their 5 Star rating.
Worn and not even close to what it use to be.
The tub had built up calcium on the glass.the mirrors had the last renters tooth paste spattering on it. The bathroom mirror had a built in TV that had no reception. The room TV speaker was distorted sounded like the speakers were blown. There seem to be red blood on one of the pillows too, maybe the maid cut their self and didn't realize it.
I see there rating was 4.1, not even close in my opinion.
The next morning I asked to move to the new Rush Tower, Club Level. They did without hesitation. They did want to charge me $10 extra per room for the move. The $10 was not not the issue but I commented really? I asked if that made sense to them. They made a call to someone and did not charge me.
The rooms were fabulous. This was closer to what I expected.
2 items to note, the maid had left her disposable gloves, they were on the sink in bathroom.
Also the caulk on the door of shower leaked when showering. Allot of water on the floor. More than a single towel could cleanup.
One last note, the pool. Most know their pool because of the unique slide through the shark tank. When I made the reservations I asked if the pool was open. They didn't mention the slide was broken. Closed....
One of the staff mentioned it discovered cracks in the slide tube in February. They thought it odd it still was not fixed. Well guess what that day construction started. Jack hammers and a flood of noise started 9am. We could only take it for an hour and left.
Avoid the pool until its done.
