Four stars for having EVERYTHING a foodie could possibly want to buy all in one place.
Minus one star for PRINTING THEIR OWN EXPIRATION STICKERS AND SLAPPING THEM ON SLOW MOVING PRODUCTS.
Forget about the comments about a "fishy smell." Yes, there is a fishy smell to the place -- mainly because the fishmongers in the back gut and clean a metric ton of fish every day. Most of the fish sold there is first-rate, high quality. But buyer beware, I have seen some cloudy-eyed sole there occasionally.
Also, what's up with everybody complaining about the hours. 10-6 six days a week is plenty of open time. If they added more shifts, the price would go up.
Finally, quit complaining about the membership card. People who spend $200 per year should get a card (and save a little money on groceries). People who don't spend $200 per year can pay a little extra. I think it's a fair system.
