  • 06.14.2014 Our first time staying at this resort. The facility is GORGEOUS!!! I love the exclusivity of the spa in a separate building from the casino. You see it while at the pool but won't know what it is unless you ask. There's a waterfall structure at the front of the building. So you walk behind the "waterfall" and it's like discovering a hidden treasure... I used the fitness center a couple of days and was able to use the spa facilities and lockers. I enjoyed sitting out in the outdoor Quiet Area by the secluded lap pool on a comfy couch and read my book. You can hear some of the noise from the pool but you can't see it....nor can you be seen. . I was trying to describe the place to my hubby, who was at the pool with the girls. I encouraged him to go work out after me and enjoy it also. The usual spa amenities (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, deodorant, shaving cream, razors, hair products/tools, blow dryer and curling iron) as well as fruit, water, granola and tea in the waiting area prior to your treatment. I wouldn't mind working out here next time...or finding a quiet place to read a book. It would definitely save money since GVR casino wasn't very generous...
