I went to Avondale Mitsubishi today to see if I could get my recall taken care of on the brakes of my Eclipse. The brakes go to the floor in a quick stop everytime. I told the woman at the service desk who then just repeated jargon. She went talk to her service manager and came back with more jargon about a fluid change that would fix this (the fluid change and inspection of the valves to check for internal problems is really what it is). I came home and called Mitsubishi and they told me in this situation, the dealership is required to test drive my car and try to duplicate the problem and call Mitsubishi. The new parts for the recall are not available yet for the general public but if the dealership can duplicate the problem and they call Mitsubishi, my repair would get done. I will never ever drive to this dealership again. So thank the girl at the glass desk at the door for one less customer.
