| - Downside is that toppings are 60 cents each. That's something that I'm not used to since there are so many other places that offer unlimited topping choices included in the price.
Very chill music playing in the background and there's a beachy theme going on. There are 5 tables that can seat 4 people each and a larger one in the middle with single seats as well along the wall. 3 different types of soy sauce are on the table: original, premium and low sodium.
Then build your own bowls are $9.45 for a regular and $10.45 for a large. The small is pretty small so get a large for a dollar more. Their poke choices are spicy tuna, shoyu ahi tuna, wasabi masago ahi tuna, Hawaiian style ahi tuna, soy ginger salmon, sweet chili tofu poke, and two other interesting choices. With each additional topping costing $0.60, the price of a build your own bowl can add up pretty quickly. I recommend ordering pre set bowls.
My sister ordered the kewalo bowl which came with white or brown rice, choice of poke with shoyu or hot shoyu with a wasabi mayo drizzle, shredded nori, radish sprouts and red onions. The wasabi added a nice kick to the bowl and wasn't too strong. The ahi tuna was well seasoned and firm, not mushy unlike a few other poke places I've been to.
Service is great, and workers are super friendly and helpful here. Food came out really quickly too.
