  • Nice work. Terrible prices. I went to the Nail & Toe Center when I was in town visiting a friend. My last few gel manicures, prior to going to the Nail & Toe Center have started peeling after 1 week. I am 2 days shy of 2 weeks now with my current gel manicure from the Nail & Toe Center and the first nail chipped last night. Keep in mind, I was at the beach for a few days so that probably caused some of the damage. I would give them a higher review if it wasn't for the pricing and excessive up-selling that goes on at the Nail & Toe Center. My one friend asked for a regular manicure instead of a gel. The women at the counter harassed her for several minutes trying to convince her to get the gel instead of regular. My two friends and I were all asked several times if we wanted our eyebrows waxed in addition to getting our nails done, my one friend had actually had her eyebrows waxed the day before, so obviously the women doing her nails didn't even look at her to see if it was a worthy solicitation. I paid $30 for a gel manicure. I am used to paying around $20 for gel and $45 for the mani/pedi combo, so I was pretty turned off by the price. Otherwise, the place was clean and they were quick. But I certainly can't warrant spending an extra $10 every two weeks for such tacky/tasteless service.
