| - I decided to check Yelp! after a truly awful experience here and I quickly realized that I should have probably read these reviews BEFORE walking into this place!
I have never ever in all of my (extensive!) shopping experiences in multiple cities experienced such terrible service.
My bf wanted a pair of Converse so we decided to check this place out having passed their window displays a few times.
As we walked in, we were faced with a very angry customer walking out yelling "F@#% you! Keep your F@#%-ing tshirt!" -- this should have been our first clue! Instead, we walked in and even offered the 2 salesgirls and older gentleman sympathetic smiles.
We barely had time to come to a full stop in front of the wall of Converse when the salesgirl asked "which ones do you want to try?" Again, we smiled and asked for "a minute to decide" She replied "What size do you need?" Still smiling, I answered "We'll let you know as soon as we pick a pair" Unflinchingly she answered, "Which pair? I have all sizes." Ok then.
My bf picked a pair, asked for his size, tried on one foot for size, kindly asked for the other foot, walked 3 steps to the mirror and walked back deciding he didn't like the particular model on his foot. He gave them back to the salesgirl with the intention of trying on another model but seeing her angrily stuff the shoes in their box and huff, we decided to go.
We said thank you and as my bf was putting his own shoes back on, the older gentleman loudly asked the salesgirl, "So is he taking them?" She shook her head no and he replied "But he tried both feet and looked at himself in the mirror for half an hour."
At this point, I loudly asked "Is that a PROBLEM sir?" He looked at me in surprised disgust and sarcastically answered "No, WHY would it be a problem?" Playing along, I sweetly answered "Well, you made a comment, is it a problem for someone to try shoes on?"
This, apparently didn't sit well and he answered "If YOU'RE ALLOWED to WASTE half an hour of my time and NOT buy shoes then I'M allowed to make COMMENTS!"
My bf and I looked at each other and realized there was no point in continuing an argument with someone like that so we smiled and left.
Seriously, go buy your Converse literally ANYWHERE but here!
