| - A complete waste of time!
I made an appointment and went in for my eval. I went through the usual tests, charts, lights, etc. I was told that I would have to make another appointment to come back and have my eyes dilated. I asked why I couldn't do it now and was told that I can't drive afterwards.
I assured them that all I have to do is make a call and would have a ride home, and they still didn't want to do it. I can only assume that it was because it was 4pm on a Friday and they closed at 5. Why would they make an appt. knowing that there wasn't enough time to do a full eval!!
I was assured that I was a go for surgery but that they needed to do the dilation tests before it was a sure thing, and that they could dilate the day of surgery. Two weeks go by and my surgery day arrives.
I leave vacation early to make my 9am appt. I show up, and finally got my eyes dilated and tested after waiting 2.5 hours. The woman told me to go grab lunch while my eyes recovered from the dilation.
I leave, go grab lunch, and return at the appointed time. The woman checks my eyes to make sure they have recovered. I was told to go out and wait AGAIN. So I do so. Then it's finally time for surgery. I call to arrange a ride. Go back to the exam room where I am told that the surgeon doesn't want to do my surgery because my hyperopia is too bad and the surgeon doesn't want a partial result!!
I was told that I could expect to get a 20/30, which I accepted as not perfect. I also only needed ONE eye done.
I was too mad to say anything!! Not only did I waste 2 weeks since they were not willing to do a full eval on my initial appt, but I wasted most of my day going to lunch and waiting to be told something they likely knew after my FIRST appt.
I left at almost 3pm, after arriving at 9am. I wasted 2 trips, a lunch, time, arranging a ride, and a chance to look elsewhere!!
Was only one eye not enough money, were they too lazy to stay and finish a full eval on the first visit?? Who knows!!
Don't go here and waste your time!!!!!
