I signed up in May and thought this would be great for my son! I did have concerns with the seating since they have so many people signed up and not enough seating for parents I was forced to stand for about 30 minutes which was fine but not the best experience for the $150.00 I was paying a month.
My son seemed to like it and really enjoyed classes. My schedule changed and I was not able to take him there anymore. When I called they didn't seem to care but told me, "You will still have to pay until your contract is done."
Fine, I have no choice. My credit card expired and it would not go through. They called me and I told them I ordered a new card and I would call on Friday or Saturday with the new card (this was 4 days away from their call to me not a few weeks or even a week). I then was asked the following questions.
"What time will you call?"
"What number will you be calling from?"
"Can I call you at a certain time so I know I am here to take your payment?"
"I am the only one here and I want to know when I can call you."
"Can you make a payment today?"
I asked him why any of that information was necessary. I would call on Friday or Saturday and make the payment. I have made all the other payments before - not sure what the issue was. He seemed so upset that he would have to call me back.
The next day I sent an email to the Karate location and expressed my concerns. I said Craig was rude to me on the phone and not to renew my plan past the 6 months. Guess who replied back? Craig. Who ignored my request to cancel and said "I will call you on Friday for an updated credit card." He didn't acknowledge my concerns or cared that he came off rude to me.
I now have my lawyers involved since they only seem to care about their money and not their students or paying customers. They charge a insane amount of money for only 3 class options during the week; 2 of which are before 5PM.
My neighbor pays 1/2 the price and has more scheduling options during the week. I regret signing up with them and hate that I referred people to them.
