  • Normally I only write reviews for businesses I want to rate 5 stars, but days after visiting America's Mattress I'm still so skeeved out I had to get it off my chest. The husband, two kids, and I went in on a Sunday afternoon, after visiting a couple other mattress stores in central Charlotte. The place looks nice inside, and they have a large selection of Tempur-pedic, Serta, and a few other brands to try so that was all well and good. Subtract stars, however, for the lone salesman trying to divide his time among the several couples in there. Actually, I was glad we didn't have his undivided attention because every time he came over to us I got the demeaning, bullying, used-car-salesman vibe. Buy today! This sale only lasts who knows how long, even though I sure wish it could last forever! The mattress you want will never be cheaper, in fact, with inflation as it is, no one will be able to afford mattresses in the future! After sneaking around and lying on all the mattresses, we couldn't get out of there fast enough. I'm sure with a different salesperson, the experience could be much better! Rant over, feeling guilty for slamming someone now. Truthful, but guilty...
