| - Rude staff, politicking, dogmatic, inhumane and no customer service skills.
Michelle Scholes a property manager is a phony corrupt individual and backstabs whoever she can to get ahead. Do NOT trust anything this woman says! Not only is she rude.. She doesn't even do things by the book herself and yet she is always imposing rules on others while deflecting her own wrong doings. For instance, a weight machine is broken in the gym, she made a sign saying it will be fixed by April 27th. Edited: Its May 4th today and still the sign is sitting there with the broken machine. She tries to find whatever ways to be petty and charge tenants over whatever creative fees she can come up with for her decisions. She took more than 2 months to arrange to fix a broken elevator and has not provided any compensation for the missing services. She even charged tenants 25 dollars deposit for a side door key, plus 5 dollars for a stairwell key. Why should tenants pay for icon's imcompetance?! She stretches the truth and doesn't even have her own facts straight. Firstly, she claimed window cleaning was supposed to be completed by May1st 2018. The project kept being extended and she was incompetent in updating the residence that would be affected by the delay. Secondly, I sent her and concierge an email during business hours advising her not to enter my unit for contractors, not only did she not respond. The contractors entered my unit, disturbed me from my sleep and advised me they were not notified not to enter. She promised she'd assist me to help fix a lock, saying dearly "I'll takkee carrre of youuuuu!!" she never did squat and all she did was look to find fault. It took me weeks and multiple attempts to reach her, and she never ended up doing anything. She never follows up other than to punish people or enforce rules that she never even follows herself. She stays around the premises during her off hours, yet when i wanted to just ask her a simple question she curtly dismissed me saying she was off. Then don't hang around the common areas! She obviously has enough time on her hands to chit chat with Matthew the concierge till 630pm when she is supposed to be out of the building by 5pm. She has so many double standards i cannot even describe. She claims the have studied law and yet she doesnt even appear to know any of it. She claimed a section of the law on me and i checked with the police and there was no such law. All this has happened and she has only been with the building for not even 6 months. My experiences with this company overall have been horrible.
The two reasonable staff I've worked with were Wes and Christine Agustinho. But Erjon Dida and Michelle Scholes are manipulative and are simply horrible specimens. Always making excuses and faulting their tenants when they themselves are not delivering. I would definitely recommend another company as they are just incompetent. I am a paying tenant and I certainly hope our board fires this company
