| - If I start with four stars (businesses have to earn the fifth star), this is why I would subtract/add stars to the rating:
-1 for tv (initially had no signal, called front desk first time, waited thirty min for guy, called second time and front desk said to just change the channels which worked), tv guide inaccurate
-1 for throwing away my soap and crowded conditions at breakfast
+1 upgrade to hot tub suite
To explain further regarding breakfast, crowded doesn't even begin to describe what breakfast is like! You can't get to the bread without cutting in between the omelette line. I couldn't tell if there was a rhyme or reason to waiter/waitress service. Some tables had service, and some did not. I chose to eat at the bar, and a waiter took my tray of dirty dishes when I got up to place it somewhere. There was a line out into the hallway on a Saturday morning, so you've been warned! I don't even think there was anything major going on except Comic Con; most of the people who were eating were families with children under the age of 10, so I don't think they were part of the Comic Con crowd. A better layout is needed for breakfast!
I suppose for 40,000 points per night in August, I shouldn't complain too much, but overall I had an okay experience. The hotel was within walking distance of Old Montreal & the harbor and was a 20 minute drive from Saputo stadium. I would not object to staying here again!
