  • Sunbrite came out to my home to repair what I thought was a home warranty repair. The pool pump motor was in need of replacement due to its age. The tech promptly told me that the motor was not covered. He never called to get any authorization for the repair. I immediately called the warranty people to inquire. The tech thought that the cause of the bad motor pump was due to chemical abuse of the pool chemicals. He ignored the fact the my "pool guy" had just put in 2 gals of chlorine the day before to treat the water. The fact that his "diagnosis" was chemical abuse voided out any warranty on the pump motor. He made sure to yell that out while I was on the phone with the warranty people. Last I checked water doesn't run thru the pump motor, but the pump. Bottom line the pump motor cost me $620. I filed a complaint with the company directly and no response. DO NOT use these scammers! They will never be allowed on my property again.
