| - Do NOT book a massage with this place (or any other service for that matter).
Besides the fact that it looks sketchy at best, the staff is completely unprofessional and outright rude.
I bought a Groupon for two sessions back in Nov (exp Mar 9) and it took me about a month to book the first one. Every time I callled I got someone who had to ask someone else, who's going to call me back, etc. I mean.. in this day and age this should be a very simple online tool for them. So I thought it was odd, but I thought I just have to go through these two appointments. Finally I got the first one booked and when I showed up they seemed to be confused (I was clear I wanted a female therapist - well, whatever you wanna call them, obviously no RMT receipt with the service!). They had a powow for 10 minutes (while I was waiting in a cold room in the basement, with a small space heater on). Eventually someone showed up and did it, but never made the 10' I lost. When I got out of it and booked my second session, I had to have them manually write on the Groupon that they will add the extra 10' for next time.
Next time (a couple of weeks later) I called the same day and ask if I can reschedule. Was told "no problem" and rebooked it for the following week. I showed up assuming it was all good, and was told that I never cancelled the previous appointment. I pulled up my phone and showed them their number on my log. Then she (apparently the manager) changed her tune and said that they wouldn't have rescheduled it since they require 48-h cancelation. She was basically lying to my face, and with a super nasty tone... so I decided to write off my second appointment and leave it to that. All in all, yes, I only paid $70 but got 50' of service and a lot of time spent dealing with them on the phone, plus the useless time I took to show up for this last one. NOT WORTHY, and STAY AWAY. This hood deserves better so I hope they won't last long.
