| - Costco is amazing. Bulk packaging, all the snacks you can handle and friendly faces abound.
Here's the thing: I love this place. If you're a host of any type of event and you don't come to Costco, you're doing it wrong. Their deli is always quick and the meat is always good quality. Their produce is tasty and lasts for a decent amount of days, so if you can't immediately prep, it's okay. Their sample game is STRONG. Sometimes, I don't feel like making lunch, so I just pop on over to the Costco and go forth.
Here's the other thing: you will get lost. Period. If you don't come here on a regular basis, you will get lost. It's not that I don't have faith in you, it's that *they* don't have any signage. At. All. So, unless you come all the time and literally for the same, exact things, you're going to get lost. Just accept it. And pick up that huge bag of pistachios for yourself to power through. You might need it. Especially when you have to wait in that checkout line.
Other tips: *The gas pump hoses stretch, so it doesn't matter which side your tank is on. Get in where you fit in and pull that sucker over. *The hot food at the stand is pretty good and the pizza is really greasy. Grab a napkin. Or five. *The stuff separator on the conveyor belt (plastic piece that keeps your stuff separate... does that have a real name? I gotta Google this later.) can be flipped upside down and you can stick your card in there. *They refill propane tanks. *Their tires are comparable to other local shops. *I haven't met a mean employee yet.
Overall, Costco is a great way to get whatever you need for your family reunion, business function or lazy lunch. Just be prepared to stay a while, but be pleasantly surprised when it goes quicker.
