  • I was in the market for a new hair salon and stumbled across the somewhat secluded Flaunt Boutique (located on Carlaw, just north of Queen), which is super close to home, so I bit the bullet and made an appointment. Upon walking into Flaunt, I felt at ease - the people were super friendly, and the salon had a great, chill vibe. Flaunt is going for a loungey atmosphere and it totally works. They are also willing to accommodate their clients' schedules, which is a nice little perk. I had the pleasure of having Manny cut & style my hair. The initial consult was great, he listened to what I liked & didn't like about my hair, then showed me some pics of what he was thinking of doing...so far so good. The wash & scalp massage was lovely and I was pretty much hooked....by the time we got to the cut & finished product, I was really excited. I was also really impressed with how Manny showed me some of the styling techniques, so I can attempt to do it myself :) Manny did a fabulous job and I think I may have just found a new salon & stylist! Yay! Women's cuts range between $50 & $85.
