Went in to be a first time donor. I was told I needed proof of my residence along with my ID. Went home to get a piece of mail like I was instructed. Came back and presented everything, then I was told by a different lady that I didn't need my piece of mail that I went home to get because my address was on my ID. Duh! Then when I get my veins checked I'm told to go drink a gallon and a half of water and come back tomorrow. After I already told her I drank plenty of water I just have deep veins and I've never had any problems donating before. It's super frustrating when people don't look at you as a case by case basis. Frustrated, I ended up going to Talecris where I have gone before, which was out of my way but at least they have their stuff together. Usually in and out of there in an hour or 2.
