| - Decided to try this place due to a recommendation. This place has a great old-school cafe vibe, down to the picnic tablecloths and handwritten signs. When I first walked in, the owner was very friendly in pointing me to the menus and assortment of sandwiches, soups and salads they had. I knew I had to try their famous sandwiches, so I ordered a casino queen (smoked turkey, avocado, bacon, and a balsamic sauce). The other sandwiches were equally as creative and appealing.
The final verdict: although I enjoyed the bacon bits thoroughly, the rest of the sandwich did not stand out to me as amazing. It was probably the sauce that was a bit off, as I am more of a savoury sandwich person. My boyfriend actually thought it was the best sandwich he's tasted, so there's different opinions. I would definitely revisit to try the other sandwiches, or the other menu items (they have vegan desserts!), or even the same sandwich but with a different sauce.
