  • Had my 2002 Civic in for a brake job. On my way home my brakes felt very soft and there was a burning smell. This was because the brakes were not seated properly. Any half way decent tech should be able to do a simple brake job let alone notice the brakes don't feel right after you've worked on them. They fixed the brakes for free and said it was a bad CV joint causing the burning smell. I told them the CV boot was fine when I brought my car in and the tech had marked it as being in good condition on the check sheet. TL;DR tech couldn't do a simple brake job and broke my CV boot which they refused to replace. Go somewhere, anywhere, else.
