  • Here's the low down: Are you too old to wear hoochie dresses but still enjoy a jaunt to Vegas? Does the idea of no clubs or casino on site sound relaxing? Then the Platinum Hotel is the place for you. This joint is all suite and it's awesome. Large living room, full kitchen with oven, balconies, jacuzzi tubs you name it. While the decor is about as exciting as Wolf Blitzer's wardrobe, it's better than bright and tacky. Also, their Well Spa is fantastic and so much cheaper than spas on the strip. Why only 4 stars? Valet only for parking and those dudes seemed bummed out half the time. Also, I asked the front desk to print out a business document and they gave me attitude. Sorry I don't travel to Vegas with USBs... very unnecessary to hassle guests over a print out.
