It's a shame cause this hotel would definitely be a solid 4 if it wasn't for their lack in service in certain areas.
I didn't have a fridge in my room, so after a few days (I stayed for 6 days) I requested one. Yet no one dropped by with one. So I requested one again the next day, finally got a fridge!
Worse was when I requested help with my bags (I just moved to Toronto so I naturally have a lot of packing) to get to a cab outside. I called at approx 12.05, waited 'til 12.45 (way too long I know) to call again to see if I'm getting any assistance. At around 1.15 my friend showed up and helped me get downstairs with my bags since no hotel staff showed up.
That was the bad parts, or else the room service staff were incredibly sweet and fast. The cleaning staff were also very sweet and accommodating (she even offered to help me with the bags to the elevators!). Location of the hotel is amazing for tourists, about a 3-5 minute walk to Osgoode subway station.
Check in went smoothly and the woman at the desk let me know I could get free WiFi if I just signed up for the HHonors so that was awesome, check out was done from the room.
The gym was really nice with a lot of machines and good AC! The pool was nice as well, heated which worked good for the nighttime swim.
Overall I'd recommend it but for the price I was disappointed with my first points.
