  • I want to give this place 5 stars, because aesthetically it's beautiful. The club house is REALLY insanely gorgeous and looks like a really nice boutiquey hotel that's located on Sunset in West Hollywood. That being said ... the management is much to be desired. They're all over the place and poor at communication. They are also not very well versed on giving correct or exact information and it seems like rules change day to day, and are different for each tenant or person looking to be a tenant. To me feels very much like Vegas ... like you're at a casino and the dealer is shady AF and trying to cheat you out of your money. Not only that, but after reading the reviews where you're given one price for rent and then they up it ... and by the way they can do that based on the contract you sign ... I find it totally disturbing. I don't care how beautifully updated these apartments are. Then to read reviews that the HOA dues don't really cover anything or help with maintenance. That's total crap. Literally things should be handled that same day if not by the next day. Especially with onsite maintenance. ANNNNNND speaking of that, the maintenance guy was in the office during my meeting with David and scaring another manager that was working there and in turn scaring the f**k out of me. What the hell is wrong with this place??? So unprofessional. I was definitely interested in moving in ... I had called to secure a 2 BR/2 BA, but it took a week before I got a call back, ABSURD!!! The unit I looked at was okay ... wasn't 100% exactly what I wanted, but it would do and would have been fine for a 6 month lease or 1 year, until I decided to buy a condo somewhere or a house. Then the unit is gone within a day. The unit was going for $1170 ... not bad, as I rented a place in LA for $1100 and that was just for a furnished room, which is really cheap for LA standards. Then I go online to apply and it won't let me progress past the part where it expects 2 phone numbers. So I add my cell phone in twice. It won't let me. WTF! Kind of annoying. I don't have a landline, nor do I want one. I guess I could have put a friend's number down, but why? So I emailed again and it took a day for a response. Answer: enter all zeros. LOLOL. So stupid right!? Then I get to the next screen or two and there's NO 2BR/2BA. only a 2BR/1BA. So I message again, was told it was given to a current tenant and all they had were the units listed. Now for the best part ... the rent is higher now, less 1 bathroom, by $60 something dollars. WHAT? Was the first thing that went through my head. Then I'm emailing back and forth and not getting any real good responses back and then I get a call. The guy tells me that certain units will go on special, but it varies. Basically! But still that makes NO sense to me. It's total bullshit. If a bigger unit is on special, than all units should be on special. Oh and then I was told that based on the location of the property, the prices for units changed based on building location. WTF is that?!?! Honestly thought this guy was pulling my leg... but sadly I guess he wasn't. In no way do I blame him however, I blame the owners of this property. Legit dummies. You can't rent units, vary the prices drastically, charge HOA, employ ridiculous management and maintenance and expect to keep this place afloat. To top this all off ... the basically will let ANYONE move into this property. They just want the units rented. If you have bad credit but can pay the higher deposit, then it's no big deal to them. But I guess it's Vegas and there are just a lot of crazy and weird people, and they need a place to live. Go rent a house or go buy one if you can. None of the apartment rentals I've seen are that great, this one was probably my favorite because it was fresh and remodeled ... and didn't smell like mildew & farts, had new carpet, hardwood floors and granite. But that's not enough. They need a better staff who can get better renters in there, and also scamming people needs to change immediately. Then the cherry on this disastrous cake.... a tenant threatened suicide to their family before a welfare check. Police arrived and heard a shot. I live about 2 blocks away and heard 2 to 3 shots. Not 100% what really happened, as it's now not on the internet anymore and has completely disappeared. This was April 1st, on a Sunday ... Easter to be exact. NO WAY am I moving into those apartments after that. Also, I looked up history and there's a long list of crazy incidents that have happened here. I'm definitely no longer a fan of this place. Be wary .. and be careful.
