| - Four months later and I'm still thinking about the great time I had at Life Is Beautiful as I sit at the El Cortez Hotel.
A little about me:
1. I love music
2. I hate festivals
Why do I hate festivals? Well, first off, I don't want to camp. I want to sleep in a real bed and take a shower, and occasionally cool off from the heat. Lollapalooza was a pretty good festival candidate, but it is just too big and the hotel prices are too expensive.
This past October, I stayed at a crappy motel on 13th & Fremont for $45/night. During a weekend, during a festival, that's amazing.
Also, the weather was perfect. Not hot at all, and not too cold either. So happy to see a festival not in the dead middle of summer.
On top of that, it was run fairly well for a 2nd year. Food options were plentiful and delicious, stages never seemed too crowded, even for the headliners.
I really don't have much negative to say about the entire experience and will 99% be at 2015's festival.
