Sadly, I didn't even have an opportunity to dine here. Today we arrived at 5:30, the restaurant had just opened and there was one other couple waiting on the patio. The restaurant was completely empty and upon entering the beautiful historic building a hostess looked at us, no greeting, no good evening, just a long glance and asked if we had reservations. I informed her that we did not. She then walked away to ask a man whose name is "Chris" ( I learned his name by calling and giving his description) a question. He comes over and quickly says they are completely booked for the entire night and shrugged us off. He could've offered to put us on a waiting list should there be a cancellation (restaurant is empty), he could've recommended we come back another day. Nope, he showed a lack of professionalism, lack of interest and only cared about chit-chatting with the hostess about personal stuff and quickly went back to engaging in personal chatter whilst staring at their cell phones. Did I mention the restaurant was empty? After looking at OpenTable.com, turns out they did have several reservations available! Thanks a lot Mr. Chris and gracious hostess for turning my husband and me away. My first impressions based from the first interactions upon entering this establishment were poor and for that reason my rating is one star. Sidenote; when I called to speak with "Mr. Chris" regarding the reservation availability on Opentable.com, I was placed on hold by the hostess for over 27 minutes. Screenshots are of hold time and the Open Table reservation.
