  • Bettis' is a fun atmosphere when you come during a sporting event. The bar will be packed, patrons noisy and loud cheering for Pitt or the Steelers. Lots of screens to watch and it's not too too hard to get a drink at the bar even when it's crowded. The food is pretty standard; nothing great even for bar grub - fried stuff, nachos, quesadillas, wraps, sandwiches and a few fancier looking items to round out the menu. Overall, the only time to come to Bettis' is when there's a corresponding game going on. It's a nice establishment, yes, but there are much better places around town if you want a proper meal, even by pub fare standards.
