I've been to my fair share of ultrasound clinics over my many years as an adult woman. I never really had a good experience, or expected to. It was always just another (mostly annoying) appointment I had to go to.
Until I came to the Women's Imaging Clinic of Oxford Medical Imaging. The general clinic is on the 4th floor and the Women's Clinic is upstairs on the 5th. I've been here 3 times now and have been pleasantly surprised each time.
The waiting room is calm and quiet. The reception staff have always been polite and friendly. The technicians have always been so kind and patient as well. Let me tell you that if you've ever had the joy of having an internal ultrasound of your ovaries, it doesn't help matters at all if the technician is a cold robot who makes you feel even more uncomfortable than you already are. Not fun. That was my experience before. Not here. It's a small detail that makes ALL the difference to a woman having her insides looked at. A friendly and gentle staff is appreciated so much. I really do recommend the Women's clinic for any ladies who need an ultrasound for any reason.
The only reason I'm not giving them a 5star review is that they have a screen in the waiting room of an aquarium. It's kind of a small torture to stare at that when you have a full bladder waiting for your ultrasound.
