Though no fault of its own, this Westin is just OK.
The lobby and staff were completely wonderful, everyone from the moment that I stepped out of my cab was very polite and helpful. The lobby area is well laid out and decorated.
Despite all of this, the property is old. After leaving the lobby and walking to my room, I started to notice the older furnishings and darker lighting. The smell, while not overly offensive, could best be described as eau de Grandma House. Not bad, just old.
There was nothing sweet about my junior suite, although the view of the lake was nice.
If this was a Sheraton my review would have been different, I just expected more from this brand at this location.
