| - If you found the place, you found one of the three reasons to be at the 4 Queens. The other two: reasonable table games and Chicago Brewing.
Judging by the number of reviews, Hugo's is not a hidden location any longer. Even though reservations are not required, it is helpful to ensure you get a table during the peak dining hours. What are those in Vegas? Between now and then... There have been times that we messed up and didn't call ahead, and we waited. Then, other times, we were seated right away. It's Vegas and all about the gamble, right?
The rose upon entry for the ladies is such a nice feature. Late in the evening when you walk around downtown, it's interesting to count how many roses there are floating around. That Hugo guy must have been a huge romantic! Probably has a lot of children as well. (wink wink)
The food at Hugo's has yet to disappoint. From the salad cart where you get to pick what goes into your salad, to the entree's served fresh and hot, to the complimentary chocolate-covered fruit.
All of this luxury, and a wine list to make any oenophile happy with the varied choices. Stuck on which wine to choose? Help is what the sommelier loves to offer. They are easy to spot because they have the gold medal hanging from their neck. Just kidding, it's a tastevin used to sample before your first taste to ensure the wine is proper to be served. Another nice touch. For mixed drink fans, the bar makes solid drinks, not shy on flavor or punch.
This is a place where it is perfect to dress to impress. One of the nicest restaurants in town, you want to look sharp.
We just wish they would bring back the original Hugo's chicken.
