| - From the first time I walked into Fallen Leaf, I was impressed. Yes, it's incredibly clean, but more than that, I felt welcome. Angie greeted me and took time away from her current client to talk with me about my idea. We had only spoke for 5 minutes, yet when I returned 3 months later to see the sketch Angie drew up for me, she remembered exactly who I was and what I was getting, without me saying anything.
Yes, the wait is quite long (I waited 5 months to get my first piece), but I assure you it is WELL worth the wait. Angie takes a lot of pride in her work and encourages you to return (on the house) once you've healed to check that the piece is up to her standards. If it's not, she will freshen those areas up.
This isn't mandatory, but in my opinion, it's a previous obvious piece of advice: CASH IS KING! Especially in a tattoo shop. IMO, it's pretty tacky to charge your new ink, especially when the artist has spent hours making sure you're happy with the final outcome. Oh, and tip well - Angie deserves it!!! Her attention to detail is mind-blowing! I still catch little details in both pieces she's completed on me and think "damn, that's awesome!".
