  • I was there several weeks ago with my sister and a friend of hers for the "ladies night out" and I only went because my sister wanted me to go. I was not to enthusiastic but I went and I'm glad I did. What I found was a lot of fun. Sandra was fantastic and amazingly engaging in her love of art and teaching us how to paint, and how its all about shapes, and to get me to paint my first canvas. I walked around the studio and looked at all the artwork created by kids awaiting a pick up and thought it was amazing the programs the for kids and the different programs for adults. I decided on painting two birds on a branch, which is presently proudly hanging in my office, and was shown how to draw the figures and mix my paints for the colors I wanted and was encouraged in getting the look I want. Sandra was very encouraging. Sandra even fixed my painting when my sister decided to "play a joke" and did a smiley face on one of my birds. I was not a happy camper but Sandra made it all better and I was able to finish my "masterpiece". I had a great time and I think all of you would too. Especially for kids. It was an awesome experience.
