| - I knew this place existed but I didn't know it Existed! Wow it was exciting to dine here all the way through! Spur of the moment we chose to eat here after looking on Eater because our previous plans were ruined. I'm very happy with our choice!
Stacey was experiencing Sage for her second time 5 years later and me for the first time! I loved the Art Deco decor, the purple and dim lighting and the open dining room. The staff was all very nice and pleasant. Our server was the best! He was subtly hilarious and very helpful!
We each got the 3 course meal and shared everything. It was refreshing to have a coursed meal and not everything at once where I'm stuffing myself. I was able to take my time, enjoy the flavors and presentations.
I loved the menu and the charts of the absinthe and the cocktail menu. Yes, I said Absinthe! They have an Absinthe cart here with all different types and origins, which comes last.
In no particular order, we enjoyed the salmon, the Alaskan king crab, the beet salad, foi gras creme brûlée, Spanish octopus, scallops. Chocolate dessert.
Cocktails- Sazerac, The Peet, absinthe, espresso.
Thank you for your complimentary items and the experience!
