Bad experience. Went in on a Saturday, they had two chairs going, one employee smoking by the front door and one customer waiting. I put my name in thinking it wouldn't be that long of a wait. I ended up waiting 50 mins for a hair cut. I understand that I went on a Saturday but if I would have been told it would be that long of a wait when I checked in with the girl up front, I would have just gone on a different day.. or came back in an hour.
Apparently there were people checked in before me that went shopping and came back for their haircuts. There was also another person that made an appointment on the app and got in within 10 mins. Why wasn't I told about these people ahead of me when I checked in?? I was caught up in a situation where I didn't leave because I kept on thinking my name should be called up soon since I have waited this long. But then someone else would walk into the store that checked in earlier and they would get in before me.
The cut-- one of the worse I've had in a long time. First, I have thick hair with long layers. The young girl kept on making comments on how thick my hair was and laughing about how it gets tangled up when she puts water on it. Yes... I know... trust me... I deal with it everyday.
I asked for a trim. It had been awhile since my last cut since I am trying to grow it out so she showed me how much needed to come off and I said that amount was fine.
The problem was she decided to cut new layers into my hair. I walked into the store with long layers and walked out with the "Rachel Cut". I have never had anyone change the shape of my hair during a trim. It is going to take a long time to bring all my layers back to a style that isn't 20 years old.
I didn't go back and have them "fix" it because that would involve more cutting and like I said, I am trying to grow it out. I'm just going to have to walk around looking like a cast member from "Friends" for awhile.
