  • Went for the Wine Down Wednesday event, sponsored by Sunny 106.5. Two free pours (generous) is worth checking it out, and additional glasses are reasonably priced as well. Nice selection of wines at 2 stations and food is available for purchase. The pool is pretty tiny, as is the hot tub. No one at the Wine Down event was in either, and it was pretty windy. Live music and plenty of seating added to the venue's ambiance. Sunny 106.5 gives away stuff during the event too. I was at the Silverton for reasons unrelated to the wine event, so it was a nice addition to the small jackpot I earned in the casino! This event is ending in May, probably because no one will want to lounge around when it's 110 out there. I would return if they start it up again post summer.
