I was getting a little hungry in the afternoon after walking so much and decided to get a quick bite to eat at Pink's. The key word here is DECIDED to get a quick bite to eat. When we jumped in line, there were only 10 other people in front of us but it took nearly 30 minutes just to get up to the counter to order. This place is freakin' slow! While we were waiting in line for 30 minutes the line grew to epic proportions... easily like 50+ people behind us in line. I hate to think what they had to wait at the end just to order.
I ended up ordering a chili cheese dog with a side of fries (it only took me 45 seconds from pulling up to the counter to order to leaving the line and not the average of 3 minutes to order per person. It isn't that hard.). The chili cheese dog was good... slightly above average for a hot dog.
The problem with Pink's is the wait time to order to taste ratio. Its good to try once but it definitely isn't worth the wait. The second thing is the seating area outside is very very small. If you come at a busy time, you might have to hover until you find a place to sit. It didn't happen with me, but I can see it happening.
