| - My story started little rough but ended well, so I'm still giving 4 stars as they saw the mess up, fessed up and came with a better solution. Every company makes mistakes, not all fix them, but pro cyclery did.
I don't want to throw an individual under the bus as this isn't meant to be a rant, but a post as a tip. I would have kept this to myself if it wasn't resolved, but please ensure you insist rental bike you call in for is held for you. I called in to reserve a bike and was told I didn't need to, just come on in the next day. As I walked in the bike was being rolled out by someone else, after spending $50 on a taxi to get there. Initially I was given a pretty measly reduction on another rental bike, and as I really wanted to ride and had already sunk money into the whole endeavour, I begrudgingly agreed.
The story has a better ending though, I was offered a complementary rental in future by another staff member who is a more discerning on returning the bike (thumbs up). They did the best they could and made the balance work out for the better. I will return as a customer in future, if I end up back in Vegas.
