| - I play on a men's senior baseball team out of Long Island, NY and I've been arranging our annual trip for the past 15 years to pay in the MSBL Arizona World Series. About ten years ago I decided to start renting homes, instead of hotel rooms. I found this has its pros and cons as you're usually dealing with out of state owners (nightmare) or brokers that don't care once you arrive.
Three years ago I discovered BookMyVacay.Com during my annual search and began working directly with Elizabeth to secure our stay-usually about 9 days. I have to say that working with her has been nothing short of spectacular. Elizabeth is extremely professional, attentive to our needs, and has a maintenance crew on call. There are clear instructions on what to do when you arrive. Such as, walk around the home, identify any concerns and call the number in the instruction book located at each home. She's also available via her cell during my stay if I needed to speak with her. In fact, last year the pool heater broke the week before my arrival. Elizabeth called apologizing for the inconvenience and offered another home at a discounted rate. I was disappointed, but thanked her and declined to move-the home was very convenient to my games. She instead gave our group a credit. I know you're thinking she simply refunded some of your money. Well, she had thrown in the heated pool as a gift for return business from the previous year. The heated pool was at no charge at the time of the rental. Its actions like this and our cordial relationship that we've established over the past three years that has led me to write this post. I've read some of the reviews posted and felt the need to submit a positive post. Again, I've dealt with a number of management agents and direct owners experiencing all sorts of bad scenarios. One year an owner kept our $1000 deposit for a screen door that was already broken when we arrived. He indicated the cleaning crew said it wasn't broken. Elizabeth has been by far the best to-date. I suggest calling Elizabeth directly. There's no harm in beginning a dialog.
Additionally, I've always found her willing to discuss rates and amenities that may make our trip more pleasurable-there is always a case of our favorite beer in the fridge! We're excited about our annual migration to the desert at the end of October and it won't be our last. I know I'll be using her for years to come. I can play in this tournament into my 70's!
