Actually, I'd give it 3.5 stars. Let's just say, this isn't the restaurant to go to if you don't like talking to the person/people you're with. Luckily I was with someone I'm very comfortable talking to because you'll get LOTS AND LOTS OF TIME TO TALK while waiting for your food to arrive. The server was a nice guy and for the most part very helpful, though I wish he would've noticed our empty glasses while we were in the midst of waiting for our soup/salad. We started with the calamari and neither of us were impressed. Pretty tasteless and under cooked. Soup and salad were good. Our entrees (I had the veal and she had a seafood/pasta dish) were gigantic and good. Could've used a bit more seasoning on both. The bread it came with was also good. Just to give you an idea of time, we arrived at 6:00 and didn't have the entrees in front of us until 7:30. Keep that in mind if you have set plans later in the evening. We didn't, so this elongated dinner experience wasn't a problem. What made it worthwhile is that we each took home plenty of leftovers and the desserts were GREAT. Wound up buying them on the way out (from the counter) and eating them at home. The atmosphere is nice and I'll probably eat here again. Just don't be in a hurry...
