  • They made us wait a long time to be seated. It was amazingly slow, considering that it's just a short walk from the entrance of the restaurant to the tables. Anyway, I had the butterfish and hubby had the teriyaki beef. He ordered it medium-rare and it came to the table more "done" than it should have been. But he was hungry and didn't want to send it back for another, so he ate it anyway. It was tough and not tender at all. He said if he ever came back, he would certainly not order this dish again. I, on the other hand, enjoyed a wonderful butterfish dinner. Hadn't had this in so many years and although it was prepared differently than what I am accustomed to, still the fish was tender, moist, and tasty. I ate every bit of it and wanted more. Oh, and he ordered a side dish of macaroni salad which came in a tiny container and the salad was bland and untasty. Not going to order THIS again too. Our food server was attentive and although she was "rough around the edges," she turned out to be just fine and we ended the evening giving her a generous tip.
